Boston Bikes is Boston's city-wide initiative to encourage citizens and visitors to use bicycles for fun, exercise, and transportation.
Mayor Martin J. Walsh invites you to join us for the 12th annual TD Hub On Wheels Citywide Bike Ride on Sunday, September 18th, 2016. Travel along a car-free Storrow Drive, explore hidden pathways and historic neighborhoods, and take in views of the Boston Harbor that you've never seen before. The ride starts and finishes on City Hall Plaza in downtown Boston. This year, $5 from your registration fee will benefit Boston Children's Hospital, or create a fundraising page and help raise even more donations for pediatric cancer research!
Upon your return from your ride across the city, celebrate with a party on the City Hall Plaza, complete with a beer garden, food, live music and more!
There's no doubt that this year's NEMBAfest was the best ever. Nearly 4000 people came through over the three days, including 67 industry partners and scores of volunteers from NEMBA, the Kingdom Trails Association and the Burke Chamber of Commerce.
The new venue at the Wildflower Inn was a hit with everyone: classic Vermont vistas, easy access the best trails that the Kingdom has to offer, and a lovely field adjacent to the expo for camping. Combine this with perfect weather and the longest days of the year, and you pretty much reached mountain bike nirvana.
We're pleased to announce that NEMBAfest 2016 will be at this same location, so mark your calendars now: June 17-19, 2016. Be there!
