For 42 years, The Youth Council has been helping greater Nashua families build the skills they need to be strong, effective parents, raising children and teens that make good decisions and stay on track. Today we provide the safety net of support the local community relies on when a child is suspended from school, arrested for a minor offense, experimenting with alcohol and other drugs or having a tough time with peers, relationships, mental health issues and the like. We help real people with real problems find solutions for their families… and need your help!
First, our 25-mile bike ride meanders through rural streets of northwest Nashua, Merrimack, New Hampshire and scenic Amherst Village before returning to the BAE South parking lot, less than a mile from the main gates at Ribfest. Join us for a great morning ride and help raise funds at the same time! Roll out is at 9:00am, enabling riders to join Ribfest as the gates open at 11am.
For those up for a longer ride, we have created a 50-mile route further exploring the scenic back roads of Amherst! Roll out for the 50-mile ride is also at 9:00am.
